An Identity for a New Show from Yowei Shaw

When Yowei Shaw, renowned audio journalist and former co-host of NPR’s Invisibilia, approached us to create the artwork for her latest podcast, Proxy, we knew this would be a special project. Proxy dives deep into the emotional layers of life by interviewing individuals who serve as ‘proxies,’ allowing listeners to access and understand complex feelings through someone else’s experience. The podcast’s origin was deeply personal, rooted in Yowei’s own journey of processing her emotions after being laid off. This practice of “emotional investigative journalism” became the core of Proxy.
